A crew of approximately 20 Paul Mitchell stylists were handpicked and issued VIP passes to the fashion event held mid July. Woolloomooloo's Blue Hotel adopted a red glow as the carpet rolled out for newer muses to the material world – the affair typically nourishes the work of fashion's spring chickens and their creations set to adorn coat hangers of the forthcoming season.

Paul Mitchell stylists were plucked from Intershape, The Edge in Hair, She's A Tease, Catwalk, Bliss and Saba Hair and worked creatively backstage to meet the directional demands from aspiring designers. Among others, Polynkova requested a tribal mix of braids and feathers to compliment simple and restrained silhouettes, Arthur Avenue strolled down the feminine path with an eye for soft curls and hair accessories for a vintage glamour gloss whilst Michael Lo Sordo favoured sleek sophistication that made way for severely structured designs.
